What a Weekend at Rising Sun FPV, Thank You for Being Part of It

What a weekend.

I just want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who came down to the Rising Sun FPV Grand Opening & 8th Birthday.

Seeing the shop packed, the drone track alive with energy, families exploring the space, and people genuinely connecting with what we’ve built… that’s exactly why this place exists.

This new store represents a big step forward for us.

Bigger workshop. Dedicated training areas. 3D printing. Laser cutting. CNC. Tabletop gaming. And of course, FPV at the core of it all. What you experienced over the weekend is just the beginning of what we’re building here in Townsville.

But more than the equipment or the space, it was the people that made it special.

To everyone who showed up, supported us, shared a post, brought a friend, or even just stopped in for a chat, thank you. It genuinely means more than I can put into words.

This business started small. Just an idea, a passion, and a lot of long days.

Weekends like this are a reminder of how far we’ve come, and more importantly, the community that has grown with us along the way.

How This 3D Printed Character Comes to Life 😈

Bringing a little chaos to life… one piece at a time 😈

Ever wondered how a 3D printed character actually comes together?

We’ve been working on assembling Spike from Gremlins, and let’s just say… he’s already looking as mischievous as ever.

But here’s the part most people don’t get to see 👇

➡️ Test fitting each piece for a perfect match
➡️ Cleaning and prepping every detail
➡️ Precision assembly (where everything starts to come alive)
➡️ Getting it ready for paint and final finishing

This stage is where the magic really happens, turning separate printed parts into something with personality, character, and serious attitude.

And trust us… once he’s fully painted?

He’s going to look absolutely wild.
