Organisations

Drone Racing Australia Inc.

Drone Racing Australia Inc. is for all Drone Racing and FPV enthusiasts.
We serve to assist pilots, clubs and groups alike to develop and support the grass root foundations that are needed to help the sport of FPV Racing thrive, no matter the form factor you desire.
We are community focused and lead by the very same people you will fly with at any of our clubs, this is something we are supremely proud of.
DRA is run for the FPV community, aiming to remove and reduce the barrier to entry that often presents itself when a desire arises.
Our sub-factions and affiliated clubs lead the way with safe and sanctioned events that welcome anyone, of any age and any ability to be part of their communities.
We are Drone Racing Australia.
It's great to have you here.
Head over to there website for more information or check out there Facebook page.

Australian FPV Association Inc.

The Australian FPV Racing Association Inc. is run by established FPV Drone Racing State Clubs and Special Interest Groups, the AFPVRA was formed to promote and support FPV Drone Racing and the integrity of this activity within Australia.
Our aim is to develop this sport and give FPV pilots a voice and platform within the model aircraft world. We will continue to promote this sport in a family fun and safe environment.
The Australian FPV Racing Association Inc. is the National Special Interest Group (NSIG) for FPV racing within Australia to the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia who are the Recreational Aviation Administration Organisation to CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority)
We will encourage and assist the FPV community to start new clubs and race tracks across the country leading to a healthy, thriving fun and safe activity within Australia.
We have much heritage within this activity both National & International. This activity started here in Australia back in 2012 with Team Drop Bear. The birth of the mini quad was right here in QLD back in 2013 with the first of its kind created by www.untestedprototype.com. Then the Blackout Mini H Quad - 220mm - Carbon Fiber - Built for FPV was released later that same year. Now we have a world class leader in freestyle and race craft design such as Warpquad & ImpulseRC among many other leading bands. Did I mention the world's first ever FPV Drone Racing winner of everything back in 2015.
The Australian FPV Racing Association Inc. will fight for the rights of the FPV Drone Racing community by being the unified voice through which racers can help shape this amazing sport for the better. Head over to there website for more information or check out there Facebook  page.
